Amarex is a brass pipe fittings manufacturer and exporter from India, producing leak-proof machined fittings for industrial, marine and fluid-handling applications. We make flare fittings, compression fittings, hose barbs, tank connectors, flanges, adapters, reducers and couplings in brass and bronze – many cast in-house (with forging available for brass), then CNC machined with Metric, UN, BSPT, BSPP or Whitworth threads.
Pipe Fittings
Precision Machined Pipe & Hose Fittings We Manufacture
Our fittings begin as castings or brass forgings and are CNC machined to accurate dimensions and leak-proof performance. Thread compatibility spans international standards and customer-specific requirements.
Each fitting is CNC machined to customer drawings or standard patterns, verified with calibrated thread gauges.
| Fitting | Materials | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Brass flare fittings | Brass | Flared-tube connections in fluid and gas lines |
| Brass compression fittings | Brass | Tube connections without flaring - plumbing and pneumatics |
| Brass hose barb fittings | Brass | Hose-to-pipe connections in fluid systems |
| Tank connectors | Brass, bronze | Tank inlet/outlet penetrations |
| Flanges & adapters | Brass, bronze | Line connections and transitions |
| Reducers & couplings | Brass, bronze | Diameter changes and line joins |
| BSP pipe fittings | Brass | BSPT/BSPP threaded pipe connections |
| Custom connectors | Brass, bronze, special alloys (machined) | OEM-specific fluid-handling parts |
Each fitting is CNC machined to customer drawings or standard patterns, verified with calibrated thread gauges.
How We Manufacture Pipe & Hose Fittings
Fittings live or die on thread quality and sealing face finish.
We machine most fittings directly from free-machining brass bar on CNC turning centres, and cast the larger bodies in our sand casting and shell moulding lines before machining. Threads are cut and gauged to the standard you specify, not to a generic profile.
Sealing faces and thread flanks are held to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns), which is what keeps a compression or flare fitting sealing across repeated assembly cycles.
Grade selection
free-machining brass for threaded work, bronze where strength or seawater duty applies.
Blank preparation
CNC turned from bar, or sand cast / shell moulded for larger bodies.
CNC machining
Turning, drilling and thread cutting to BSPT, BSPP, metric, UN or Whitworth.
Thread verification
Go/no-go gauging on every thread form we cut.
Finishing
Deburring, polishing and any specified plating, which is in our scope.
Inspection
Calibrated dimensional check and leak verification where specified.
Pipe Fitting Manufacturing Process
A fitting is bought for its thread. Every thread form we cut is checked on go/no-go gauges, and larger bodies are cast to near-net shape so machining is spent only on the faces that seal.

Why Choose Machined Brass Pipe Fittings
Brass remains the default for fluid and gas fittings because it machines cleanly at the thread, seals reliably against metal and elastomer, and resists the corrosion found in water and pneumatic service.
Machined fittings also let you specify a thread standard and port geometry that an off-the-shelf catalogue part will not match.
Thread standards to your drawing - BSPT, BSPP, metric, UN and Whitworth, gauged in process.
Clean sealing geometry - flare and compression faces machined, not formed, for repeatable sealing.
Corrosion behaviour matched to media - brass for general service, bronze for seawater duty.
Dezincification-resistant grades available where water regulations require them.
Custom ports and adapters - one-off geometries produced to 2D/3D drawings without tooling cost.
Independent proof - third-party test reports from Government-approved NABL laboratories on request.
