Precision Instrumentation Components We CNC Machine

We CNC machine a wide range of instrumentation parts and fittings for control, testing and monitoring equipment.

Every component is turned and milled to exact tolerances for reliable fit, sealing and repeatable performance. The table below lists the components we produce and where each is used.

Component Description Typical applications
Sensor housings Machined enclosures protecting sensing elements Pressure / temperature sensors
Thermowell fittings Protective fittings for temperature probes Process temperature measurement
Probes & stems Slim, tight-tolerance turned components Measurement and control devices
Calibration fittings Precision fittings for test and calibration Testing instruments, calibration rigs
Connectors & adapters Threaded and sealing connectors Instrument-to-process connections
Pressure switch parts Sensors, assemblies, actuators, buttons Pressure switch assemblies
Protective shields & end caps Machined protective and closure parts Field instruments and assemblies

Materials & Grades We Machine

We select the material to match the instrument’s environment – corrosion resistance, strength or light weight. Stainless steel is the workhorse for instrumentation; brass and aluminium are used where machinability or weight matter.

How We Manufacture Instrumentation Components

Instrumentation parts are small, slender and unforgiving: a sensor housing that is a few microns out will not seal, and a thermowell that chatters during turning will not pass inspection.

These parts are CNC turned and milled directly from bar in brass, stainless steel and special alloys, with tooling and speeds set for the material rather than the shop average.

Critical diameters and sealing faces are held to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns), verified on calibrated instruments including air pressure gauges and optical measuring equipment.

Grade selection

Brass, stainless 303/304/316L, or Monel and Inconel for aggressive media.

CNC turning and milling

Slim, high-aspect features machined in controlled passes to avoid deflection.

Thread and sealing detail

Cut and gauged for instrument-to-process connections.

Finishing

Deburring, passivation and any specified surface treatment, which is in our scope.

Non-contact and contact metrology

Optical and pneumatic gauging on features too fine to touch.

Final inspection

Calibrated dimensional check and material verification before dispatch.

Instrumentation Part Manufacturing Process

Instrumentation parts are slim, deep and easy to deflect.

We machine them in controlled passes and measure them optically and pneumatically, because the features that matter are often too fine to touch with a probe.

Why Choose Amarex for Precision Instrumentation Parts

Instrument makers carry the cost of a bad component twice: once in the reject, and again in the calibration time lost proving the fault was not in the electronics.

The value of a machining partner here is repeatability across a batch, and inspection evidence that closes the argument before the part reaches your bench.

Tight, repeatable tolerances

+/-0.01 mm (10 microns) held across the batch, not just the first article.

Non-contact metrology

Optical and pneumatic gauging verifies fine features without deforming them.

Material range in one supplier

Brass, stainless steel and special alloys including Monel and Inconel.

Clean sealing and thread

Clean sealing and thread detail for instrument-to-process connections.

Full documentation

Material test certificates and dimensional inspection reports with every batch.

Independent proof

Third-party test reports from Government-approved NABL laboratories on request.
