Amarex is a marine hardware manufacturer and exporter from India, machining bronze marine fittings and 316L stainless steel boat parts for saltwater and coastal service.
We produce propeller shaft bushings, rudder bushings, shaft couplings, through-hull fittings, marine strainers, hose connectors and marine-grade fasteners – many cast in-house, then CNC machined to tight tolerances.
Marine & Boat Parts
Cast & CNC Machined Marine Components We Manufacture
Corrosion resistance and durability are central to marine service. Many of our marine parts start as investment or shell-mould castings and are then machined to achieve tight tolerances, accurate threads and smooth sealing surfaces.
| Component | Materials | Typical applications |
|---|---|---|
| Propeller shaft bushings | Aluminium bronze, bronze | Propulsion shaft support and wear surfaces |
| Rudder bushings | Aluminium bronze | Steering gear pivot points |
| Shaft couplings | Bronze, 316L stainless steel | Propulsion line connections |
| Through-hull fittings | Bronze, 316L stainless steel | Hull penetrations for intake/discharge |
| Marine strainers | Bronze | Seawater intake filtration |
| Hose connectors & adapters | Brass, bronze | Onboard fluid systems |
| Marine-grade fasteners | 316L stainless steel | Deck and equipment fastening in saltwater |
| Deck fittings, clamps & cleats | 316L stainless steel, bronze | General deck hardware (to drawing) |
| Custom marine precision parts | Marine-grade alloys | Built to boat-builder / OEM drawings |
Each part is CNC machined to customer 2D/3D drawings with smooth surface finishes for sealing and flow.
How We Manufacture Marine Components
Saltwater decides the material before anything else is discussed.
Bushings, through-hull fittings and strainers are cast in bronze and aluminium bronze on our sand casting and shell moulding lines, then CNC machined; fasteners and deck hardware are machined from 316L stainless bar.
Bearing and sealing surfaces are held to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns). Galvanic compatibility is considered at quotation stage, because a correct part in the wrong alloy will still fail in a mixed-metal installation.
Grade selection
Aluminium bronze and bronze for immersed parts, 316L stainless for deck and fastening.
Casting
Sand cast or shell moulded blanks in marine bronze grades.
CNC machining
Turning, milling and thread cutting to final dimensions.
Finishing
Deburring, polishing and any specified treatment, which is in our scope.
Inspection
Calibrated dimensional check and material verification before dispatch.
Marine Component Manufacturing Process
Marine parts are chosen for what seawater does to them over years, not for what they cost on day one.
We cast in marine bronze grades, machine to final dimensions and verify material against certificate before dispatch.

Why Choose Cast & Machined Marine Hardware
Marine hardware is judged on what it looks like after three seasons, not on delivery.
The value of specifying cast and machined bronze over a general-purpose part is corrosion behaviour in continuous seawater service, and a bearing fit that survives shaft movement and vibration.
Seawater-rated alloys - aluminium bronze and bronze for immersed and wetted components.
316L stainless for deck fittings and fasteners exposed to spray and washdown.
Galvanic compatibility considered at quotation, not discovered on installation.
Bearing fits machined to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns) for shaft and rudder duty.
Bronze casting and machining handled by one supplier for consistent blank quality.
Built to boat-builder and OEM drawings, including replacement parts for existing hulls.

We produce propeller shaft bushings, rudder bushings, shaft couplings, through-hull fittings, marine strainers, hose connectors, marine-grade fasteners and custom marine precision parts.
Yes. We cast and CNC machine bronze marine fittings including through-hulls, strainers and shaft-line components – bronze marine parts are always cast and machined for dense, corrosion-resistant structure.
316L stainless steel for pitting resistance, aluminium bronze for shaft-line wear parts, and bronze/brass for fittings – the alloys marine engineers specify for seawater exposure.
Yes. We machine marine-grade fasteners in 316L stainless steel for deck and equipment fastening in saltwater environments.
Many are produced from investment or shell-mould castings, then CNC machined for tight tolerances, accurate threads and smooth sealing surfaces required in marine systems.
