Amarex is a bronze bush manufacturer and exporter from India, producing machined bushes for industrial, marine, hydraulic and automotive applications.
We cast bushes in bronze, RG7 gunmetal and C63000 nickel aluminium bronze – continuous, centrifugal or sand cast – then CNC machine them to standard fits such as H7, H8, K6 and JS9 with controlled surface finish.
Mechanical Bushes by Amarex
Cast & CNC Machined Bushes We Manufacture
From simple bearing sleeves to complex cast-and-machined profiles, every bush is machined as per drawing on CNC turning and milling centres for tight tolerances, controlled surface finish and repeatability across batches.
Each bush is machined to customer 2D/3D drawings, with limits and fits per ISO tolerance standards.
| Bush type | Materials | Typical applications |
|---|---|---|
| Plain bearing bushes / sleeves | Bronze, gunmetal, brass | Machined ID/OD to specified fit |
| Flanged bushes | Bronze, RG7 gunmetal | Flange faced and drilled to drawing |
| Pin bush couplings | Bronze, gunmetal | Coupling bushes for pin-type flexible couplings |
| Gunmetal bushes | RG7 gunmetal | Wear parts for pumps, marine and general engineering |
| Nickel aluminium bronze bushes | C63000 | High-strength, corrosion-critical duties |
| Brass bushes | Free-machining brass | Light-duty spacers and bearing bushes |
| Custom cast & machined profiles | All bronze grades | Complex geometries from cast blanks |
Casting Routes – Continuous, Centrifugal & Sand Cast
We select the casting route to balance cost, durability and machinability for your application and order volume. Continuous cast bar suits high-volume standard bushes; centrifugal casting gives dense, defect-free rings for demanding duties; sand casting handles large or complex one-off profiles.
- Continuous cast – economical, consistent bar stock for standard bush sizes
- Centrifugal cast – dense structure, ideal for high-load and marine bushes
- Sand cast – large diameters and complex flanged or stepped profiles
How We Manufacture Mechanical Bushes
A bush is a wear part, so the process is about getting a sound, dense blank and then machining the running fit into it.
We cast bronze, gunmetal and brass bushes on our sand casting and shell moulding lines, then CNC turn the bore and outside diameter to the fit class your assembly needs.
Bore and OD are held to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns) and gauged with air pressure equipment, which measures a running fit without the contact error a mechanical gauge introduces on a thin-wall bush.
Grade selection
Bronze, RG7 gunmetal, nickel aluminium bronze C63000 or brass against load, speed and media.
Casting
Sand cast or shell moulded blanks, with wall sections set for the finished part.
CNC turning
Bore, outside diameter and flange faces machined to the specified fit.
Detail machining
Grooves, oil holes, drilling and flange facing to drawing.
Finishing
Deburring and any specified surface treatment, which is in our scope.
Inspection
Bore and OD verified on calibrated instruments including air pressure gauges.
Bush & Bearing Manufacturing Process
A bush is a fit, not a dimension. Wall sections are set at the casting stage for the finished part, and bore and outside diameter are verified on calibrated instruments including air pressure gauges.

Why Choose Cast & Machined Bronze Bushes
Bushes are cheap to buy and expensive to replace, because replacement means stripping the assembly around them. The specification that matters is the combination of alloy and fit: the right bronze for the load and speed, machined to a bore that holds its clearance once the shaft is running warm.
Running fit machined to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns), verified by air gauging.
Alloy matched to duty - RG7 gunmetal for general wear, C63000 nickel aluminium bronze for high load.
Cast in-house then machined - one supplier controls blank soundness and finished fit.
Flanged, plain, sleeve and coupling bush geometries produced to drawing.
Complex profiles from cast blanks without tooling cost for low and medium volumes.
Material traceability - test certificates with every batch, third-party NABL reports on request.
