Cast & CNC Machined Valve Components We Manufacture
We supply OEMs in fluid handling, oil and gas, firefighting and industrial flow control with machined valve parts that combine mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and leak-proof performance.
Most parts start as castings or brass forgings and are CNC machined with tight-tolerance threading, turning and drilling.
Each part is CNC machined to customer 2D/3D drawings and samples.
| Material | Common forged forms | Typical applications |
|---|---|---|
| Valve bodies | Brass, bronze, LG2 gunmetal, stainless steel | Cast (all grades) or forged (brass/stainless only), then CNC machined to seal-critical tolerances |
| Bonnets | Stainless Steel, Monel | Machined sealing faces and threads |
| Ball valve components | Stainless steel or brass | Balls, stems, seats machined for leak-free operation |
| Gate valve bodies | Bronze, gunmetal | Cast and machined for water and industrial lines |
| Strainers | Brass, bronze | Y-type and custom strainer bodies and caps |
| Discs, stems & adapters | Stainless Steel, Bronzes, Alloy Steels | Turned and threaded to drawing |
| Valve fasteners & fittings | Stainless Steel and Bronzes | Studs, nuts and gland fittings for valve assemblies |
How We Manufacture Valve Parts
Valve parts fail at the seal, so our process is built around the sealing geometry. Most valve components begin as a brass, bronze or gunmetal casting produced in our own sand casting and shell moulding lines, or as a brass hot forging where the pressure rating calls for it.
The blank is then CNC turned and milled to final dimensions, with seal faces, threads and bores held to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns).
Casting the body near-net and machining only the critical faces keeps cost down while holding the tolerances a valve demands.
Brass casting and machining run in the same facility at Jamnagar, so a single supplier controls the part from raw alloy to tested component.
Material selection
Grade chosen against media, pressure and corrosion duty, with test certificates.
Casting or brass forging
Sand cast, shell moulded or hot forged to a near-net blank.
CNC machining
Turning, milling, threading and drilling of seal-critical faces and bores.
Finishing
Deburring, polishing and any specified plating or passivation, which is in our scope.
Pressure testing
Hydrostatic or pneumatic leak verification to your specification.
Final inspection
Calibrated dimensional check and material verification before dispatch.
Valve Part Manufacturing Process
Valve parts fail at the seal, so the process is built around the sealing geometry.
Bodies are cast or forged to near-net shape and only the seal-critical faces are machined, which holds tolerance without machining away the whole blank
Grade chosen against media, pressure and corrosion duty, with test certificates

Seal-critical faces, bores and threads CNC turned, milled and drilled
Hydrostatic or pneumatic leak test, then calibrated dimensional inspection
Why Choose Cast & Machined Valve Parts from Amarex
Valve buyers are not buying a shape, they are buying leak integrity at a price that survives a tender.
Producing the casting and the machining in one facility removes the handover where most valve defects are created, and lets us correct a casting parameter when machining reveals a problem rather than rejecting a batch.
Seal-critical accuracy
Faces, threads and bores machined to +/-0.01 mm (10 microns).
Leak verified, not assumed
Hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing before dispatch.
Right grade for the duty
Brass for machinability, LG2 gunmetal for pressure-tight water service, bronze for strength, stainless for corrosive and hygienic media.
Brass casting and machining in one facility
One supplier accountable for the finished part.
Jamnagar brass ecosystem
Competitive, consistent raw material supply.
Independent proof
Third-party test reports from Government-approved NABL laboratories on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We cast and CNC machine brass valve bodies in grades C360, CW614N and CW617N to your 2D/3D drawings, holding seal-critical tolerances on faces, threads and bores.
Yes. We produce LG2 (C83600) gunmetal valve castings in-house and machine them to finished, pressure-tight valve bodies and fittings for water-service applications.
Yes. We machine brass ball valve components including balls, stems, bodies and seats, designed for leak-free operation and long service life.
Yes. We can perform hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing to verify leak integrity and compliance with your specification before dispatch.
Cast bodies (brass, bronze, LG2 gunmetal) suit most water and general service at lower cost. For higher pressure ratings we forge valve bodies in brass or stainless steel, then CNC machine them – forged bodies resist pressure and fatigue better.
Yes. We produce Y-type and custom brass and bronze strainer bodies, caps and screens, cast and CNC machined to drawing.
Yes. We provide material test certificates and dimensional inspection reports with full traceability on every batch.
